How will you contribute?
The Coordinator, Security Operations and Parking Administration oversees the daily management of security accreditation, access control, parking services, and event coordination for the Senate of Canada. This role ensures the efficient administration of processes, systems, tools, and procedures that support service delivery, while also providing recommendations for improvements and necessary changes.

Prerequisites
- Educational Requirements: Completion of a university degree, or a combination of relevant education and experience directly related to the position;
- Staff Supervision & Performance Management: Proven experience in supervising staff, providing training, and managing performance effectively;
- Policy & Procedure Interpretation: Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying policies and procedures related to personnel administration and security programs;
- Security Services Coordination: Experience in coordinating and delivering security services, including but not limited to access control, monitoring, and response protocols;
- Security Program Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices governing the delivery of various operational security programs, such as security accreditation, ID/access cards, parking enforcement, event coordination, access management, and security requirements;
- Security Clearance Processes: Extensive knowledge of the processes, systems, and procedures involved in the initiation and processing of security clearances;
- Time Management & Coordination: Strong organizational skills to effectively coordinate activities with other service providers and ensure timely completion of tasks;
- Written Communication: Ability to prepare clear and concise communications, written analyses, summaries, and reports for management, including daily operational briefings and weekly management meetings.
