We are looking for a forward-thinking Senior Advisor to continue to inform and shape the future of our Human Resources organization. In this high-impact role, you will play a key part in achieving our strategic objectives by leading cross-functional initiatives that modernize business practices and processes, optimize performance, build engagement, and strengthen our analytics capabilities.

The Senior Advisor, Human Resources People Analytics and Business Renewal Strategies provides a strategic focal point within the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), in advancing the human resources agenda and ensure the continued alignment with organizational strategic and business objectives; all the while reinforcing HR’s role as a valued partner. The incumbent is responsible for delivering a tactical role in support of strategic objectives. On behalf of the CHRO they will lead directorate-wide planning, the development and coordination of objectives, project plans and major change initiatives that may have high-visibility and are critical to achieving identified priorities. The incumbent will work in close collaboration with other members of the Human Resources team and Information Technology specialists. They will lead meaningful business transformation and business process renewal efforts.

The general public to staff one (1) indeterminate full-time position in the Human Resources Directorate.

Prerequisites

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience;
  • Minimum of (3) three years’ experience advising stakeholders on specialized business systems aimed at modernization and business renewal initiatives;
  • Strong relationship building skills important to leading strategic planning and objective setting;
  • An excellent communicator, both written and oral, with significant experience in developing and establishing a data analytics capacity in support of modern HR management;
  • Experience using key performance indicators, workforce metrics, surveys results to provide HR insights, identify trends and advance recommendations to senior level and executive stakeholders;
  • Experience conducting the technical research and data analysis needed to effectively develop customized reports to assist managers in planning, long term strategy and decision-making;
  • Experience consulting partners and key collaborators and stakeholders in developing the IT infrastructure required to support advanced data analytics requirements;
  • Experience coordinating the long-term design, enhancements and development of business systems while applying project management principles;
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and demonstrated initiative;
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of core HR functions and experience advancing objectives based on strong HR principles, policies, processes, and best practices;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and effectively promote strategies, policies and programs;
  • Experience working with analytics platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and HRIS/ATS data sources to build dashboards and automate insights.
