Are you passionate about creating efficient well-functioning workspaces? Do you pride yourself on excellent customer service and attention to details? If so, the Senate is currently seeking a Tenant Services Coordinator to join the Property & Services team.
As a Tenant Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and executing accommodation projects—including renovations, repairs, and office refreshes— for customers throughout the project cycle. You’ll oversee projects from planning through implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, contractors, and service providers to maintain seamless operations in occupied Senate buildings, while supporting essential services such as signage, equipment maintenance, and ergonomic accommodations. You'll also take the lead in organizing office moves, space standardization, and responding to workplace needs in real time. With a rotating on-site presence and readiness to respond to building-related issues during working hours, you’ll be a reliable point of contact ensuring our public sector workplaces remain safe, functional, and responsive to the needs of their occupants.

The general public to staff one (1) indeterminate (permanent full-time) position in the Property and Services Directorate.
This selection process may be used to staff determinate or indeterminate positions at the same level with similar requirements.

Prerequisites
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field OR a combination of education and experience;
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience offering tenant services or facilities management services to corporate clients;
- Must have two (2) years experience applying principles, methods and industry best practices associated with Project Management;
- Must have demonstrated experience working in collaboration with external stakeholders on corporate construction projects including maintenance, renovations or repairs;
- Demonstrated ability to oversee resources on project deliverables across multidisciplinary teams including but not limited to designers, architectural technologist and external partners (e.g., Public Services and Procurement Canada);
- Superior customer service and communication skills are required to build relationship with internal/external parties while setting appropriate expectations;
- Knowledge of Parliament and the Canadian political landscape would be considered an asset.
